textlint-rule-no-emphasis

textlint rule which detects and reports emphasis (bold and italic) in your markdown document.

This rule detects the following emphasis markers:

• **text** - bold
• *text* - italic
• __text__ - bold (alternative)
• _text_ - italic (alternative)

Install

Install with pnpm:

pnpm add @0x6b/textlint-rule-no-emphasis

Or with npm:

npm install @0x6b/textlint-rule-no-emphasis

This module requires Node.js >= 20.0.0.

Usage

Via .textlintrc(recommended):

    "@0x6b/no-emphasis": true
  }
}

Via CLI:

textlint --rule @0x6b/no-emphasis README.md

Build

Builds source codes for publish to the lib/ folder.

pnpm install && pnpm run build

Test

Run test code in test folder by textlint-tester.

pnpm test
