Installable collection of AAI Python practical programs.

Python-version independent workflow

The package supports Python 3.9 and newer. Python packages are installed per Python interpreter, so the important rule is: install and open IDLE with the same interpreter.

Normal installation

py -m pip install --upgrade aai-python-codes

Open the matching IDLE

py -m idlelib

This avoids the common problem where a PC has multiple Python versions and IDLE is using a different one from pip.

View Practical 1A source in IDLE

from importlib.resources import files
print(files("aai_python_codes").joinpath("Practical_1A.py").read_text())

View any practical

from importlib.resources import files
print(files("aai_python_codes").joinpath("Practical_1B.py").read_text())

Replace the filename with any practical in the package.

Run a practical

py -m aai_python_codes 1A

Python 3.9+ (including current Python releases, subject to availability of compatible third-party libraries).
