aerospike-async

aerospike-async has been renamed to aerospike-native

This package is no longer developed. The Aerospike Python Native Client is now published as aerospike-native.

To migrate (aerospike-native requires Python 3.11 or later):

pip uninstall aerospike-async
pip install aerospike-native

and change your imports:

import aerospike_native  # was: import aerospike_async

aerospike-native 1.0.0 is the first stable release. Its API differs from the aerospike-async 0.x alphas; see the release notes for the breaking changes.

For a higher-level, fluent API built on top of it, see the Aerospike Python SDK (aerospike-sdk).

Installing this version of aerospike-async pulls in aerospike-native, but import aerospike_async raises an ImportError explaining the rename. Earlier aerospike-async releases are yanked and remain installable only by exact pin.
