This package reserves the agentevidtrace distribution name on PyPI while the project is being built. Installing it gives you nothing useful yet.

What it will be

AgentEvidTrace turns local AI-agent sessions into verifiable audit ledgers — so you can reconstruct what an agent actually did, prove the record was not altered afterwards, and produce evidence for security review and compliance.

• Ingest local agent session logs into one normalized, append-only ledger
• Seal the ledger with a hash chain, so deletion or truncation is detectable
• Analyze sessions against security and compliance heuristics
• Reconstruct the human-in-the-loop chain: request → approval → outcome
• Stay local — reads session files read-only; no telemetry, no upload
