7Timer MCP

Weather forecasts from the public 7Timer API. No key required.

This file is self contained. It reads public data only and never writes to the machine. All output is bounded and honest about what could not be fetched.

Tools

  • forecast Weather for coordinates.
  • forecast_summary Summary of the civil series.
  • daily_outlook Daily outlook.
  • forecast_by_place Forecast by place name.

Usage

npm install
npm run build
node dist/index.js

Data comes from the public 7Timer API.

Licence — no paywall

Every tool in this package is free: no licence key, no premium tier, no hosted licence gateway. The paywall machinery this repo once carried (per-tool licence checks and paid hosted endpoints) was removed repo-wide on 2026-10-17. Nothing that this package installs or calls asks you to pay.
