An MCP server that connects your 750 Words writing archive to AI tools like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and more.

Search your entries, pull up what you wrote on any date, explore patterns in your writing — all through natural conversation with your AI tool.

Setup

You'll need a 750 Words Fancy membership and an access token. Generate one at 750words.com/account/mcp.

Claude Code (easiest)

Then quit and reopen Claude Desktop.

The MCP server works with any MCP-compatible client. Set the command to npx 750words-mcp and pass the two environment variables above.

`search_entries`	Full-text search across your archive. Supports AND, OR, exact phrases, and exclusion.
`get_entry`	Get the complete text of an entry by date, with metadata and analysis.
`on_this_day`	See what you wrote on this date in past years.
`get_writing_stats`	Overview stats: total entries, words, streaks, completion rate.
`list_metadata`	Browse your #hashtags, @mentions, and labels with counts.
`list_courses`	See all courses you've participated in.
`request_export`	Request a full journal export as a ZIP file.
`get_export_status`	Check if your export is ready to download.

Privacy

Your entries travel from 750 Words servers directly to your computer. When you ask your AI about your writing, that conversation happens entirely in your AI tool, using your own account. 750 Words never sees your questions or the AI's responses.

The access token is read-only — it can search and retrieve entries but cannot modify or delete anything.
